Owner and President, Brad Mohns, started fabricating motorcycle hitches as a hobby for friends and family in his farm shop in Round Lake, MN. As orders came in, it was time to expand equipment, facilities and employees. With the help of his family, that hobby grew into HitchDoc and now employees approximately 150 employees and maintains two full time facilities.

HitchDoc’s headquarters is based in Jackson, MN, alongside Interstate 90 in the corner of Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota. The 190,000 square foot facility is home to office personnel as well as flat lasers, flame/plasma cutting, tube lasers, welding, machining, forming, parts finishing, paint line, and full product stocking and assembly lines.

Through the acquisition of Kwik Way Manufacturing in 2016, HitchDoc added a secondary location in Sioux Falls, SD. This facility is capable of shearing, forming, drilling, sawing, welding, paint line, assembly and is operated by 10 employees with a lot of business growth potential.

HitchDoc anticipates more growth in the future with facilities, employees, and technology.
