HitchDoc is pleased to announce the acquisition of B & H Manufacturing in Jackson, Minnesota. B & H Manufacturing is known for their extremely well-made 9100 and 9600 field cultivators, as well as strip till ridge till units and custom toolbars.
In 1990, B & H Mfg. introduced the 9100 Series Row Crop Cultivator. Its design has made it one of the most popular high-trash cultivators still on the market today. Within a few years, requests from conventional and reduced-tillage farmers for a lighter-weight, easier-to-lift single-shank cultivator began to come in. This cultivator needed to still handle the heavy trash situations encountered by many farmers, but be light enough for smaller field tractors. B & H decided the best solution for these farmers was to take the proven 9100 series and create the 9600 Series Row Crop Cultivator, which was introduced in 1996. As time progressed, B & H Manufacturing expanded their product offering with the purchase of Schweiss snow blowers and zero-turn lawn mower lines, which were sold under Schweiss, Yard Shark, and Jazzer brand names.
HitchDoc began as a manufacturer of motorcycle hitches in 1990. 35 years later, HitchDoc remains family-owned and is recognized for our contract manufacturing services and products, including Travis seed carts, fuel trailers, and industrial-grade snow blowers. Serving a diverse range of markets and known for quality products, HitchDoc recognized the B & M Manufacturing products as a perfect addition to the product line due to their superior build quality.
